Islamic Overseas Employment Support Fund (IOESF)

Empowering Remote Hill Communities Through Ethical Migration Finance

KISTI aims to support low- and lower-middle-income families in the remote hill communities of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), including Indigenous and Bengali residents, who cannot afford the high costs of legal overseas employment.

Through Shariah-compliant financial assistance, skills training, and guidance for safe and lawful migration, KISTI seeks to help eligible individuals access legitimate overseas job opportunities and build sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families.

Our approach focuses on responsible financing, employment readiness, proper documentation, and coordination with relevant government authorities and licensed recruiting agencies. By reducing financial barriers and dependence on high-interest informal loans, KISTI aspires to create a pathway to dignified employment, economic resilience, and a better future for underserved hill communities.

Our Mission

Empowering underserved hill communities through ethical financing, safe overseas employment, and sustainable economic opportunities.

Target Beneficiaries

Legally documented workers with passport, visa, and BMET approval.

Young men and women from low- and middle-income families.

Initial target countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Malaysia.

Financial Framework (Shariah-Compliant Models)

Each worker may receive up to BDT 200,000–300,000 as a non-interest loan, with a nominal administrative charge.

The project may cover visa, ticket, and training costs and recover them through contractual repayment.

Repayment will be deducted in installments from workers’ salaries, in coordination with employers or labor ministries in host countries.

Vision Statement

When one worker goes abroad, a family changes.
But when he goes debt-free and interest-free — the entire society transforms.”

Expected Impact

✅ Increase in legal overseas employment opportunities.
✅ Promotion of social justice through interest-free financing.
✅ Alignment with the Government and MoEWOE Vision 2041.
